WEINIG Tech Expo 2010 Exceeds Expectations

WEINIG USA hosted a 2-day Technology Expo at its
Mooresville facility, April 29-30, 2010.
Customers enjoyed timely demonstrations and seminars focusing on
innovations in manufacturing strategies, engineered timber
products, scanning and tooling technology, and a special
maintenance class for moulder owners and operators. |

The 2010 theme “Race to Recovery”
proved to be most appropriate as a surprising number of
new customers attended the event in search of innovative
solutions to their manufacturing challenges.
WEINIG’s New Unimat Series Moulder program made
its debut at the Expo where participants had an
opportunity to take a close look at the new line and to
see performance demonstrations of two machines in the
New Unimat product line. |

“We are very pleased with the results
of the Expo,” commented WEINIG USA President, Jason
Howell.
He added, “We are also very encouraged
at the feedback we received from our customers in regard
to our ability to provide them with
unique solutions to the opportunities they are finding
in this market.
As a result of the Expo, more
companies than ever know that WEINIG offers more.” |

But everything was not work-related. There was plenty of good
food and social opportunities. Jason Emmons of the Echo Chain
Saw Carving Team was very busy during the event displaying his
skills, with the finished products awarded in various drawings,
as well as gifts and promotional items provided by other local
businesses and associations from the Mooresville area.
